    Just wondering - - -> is a half dime actually worth a nickle ?? Did the half dime come out before or after the nickle ?? Was the older "V" nickles made out of nickle or silver ?? ---- SAWMAN

    Sawman, pretty sure ALL nickels aren’t silver except WWII 42-45. The war nickels that have silver in them will have the mint mark above Monticello on the nickel. I’m pretty sure the half dimse came out before the nickel, will double check.
