As to the Challenger "Shortshells," the box clearly says they are made in France (even though the box has the Canadian Maple leaf all over it).

However, the actual shell casings say "Canada" on them.

    :noidea:

All I know is I like them and the cottonmouths, copperheads and rattlesnakes on my property don't.

That is strange. I've never noticed the box has one origin of manufacturer and the shell has another. I have the bird shot, the buck shot and the slugs. The bird shot is the only one that the box and the shells are not the same. I looked at some other shells that are imported and the shells are not marked with the origin only the box. Probably nothing, but what if . . . . . the twilight zone?
