Hello GCGF members, I have a new in the box norinco type 54 that I would like to learn as much about as possible since the interwebs lack a lot of info on these pistols. If any one out there has any knowledge on these as far as value and rarity it would be greatly appreciated.

There is a difference between the Yugo 57, and the Chinese 54. The Yugo has a longer magazine. There may be differences in durability between the Chinese made Tokarevs, and the Russian, Romanian, and Polish models. If I saw one like OP posted, I would buy it without a thought for $250 or less. Any more than that, and I would have to do a little research.

Look up Razor Arms. They sell aftermarket grips for the Yugos. I have a model 57 and love it. I believe that the grip can be shortened to fit the 54.
