Thank you for the offer but that is a little rich for my blood. I have found a source for brass and now have 300 rounds ready to load sitting on my bench.
BTW thank you Joel you complete two old boxes for me!

Not a problem. This stuff is pretty scarce and I saw that Remington rounds are bringing from $1.68 to $1.90 on gunbroker.com. Of course, I wanted to offer is for much less locally on this great forum.

I actually have a box of this at home. It's marked $5.10!
I've reloaded it a couple time now. When my grandson hits town he'll shoot every round I have loaded.

Hah, hah! I've had this ammo for a number of years and remember that I bought it at an estate sale. I didn't get it cheap, but when you need it, you need it.

Actually, two of these boxes have old price stickers, too. One is $12.88 and the other $14.95. Inflation!

I also have three boxes of 32-20 Win. One of them is marked $17.10 - that was a long time ago, too. I couldn't find any Remington for sale on line, just WW and it averages $1.50/round.

If you change your mind, just let me know. One box or all... same price.

Thank you for the information, and I'm not trying to be argumentative, but I looked at ammoseek.com, too. Most of that ammo IS for the cowboy action shooting and is loaded to do only about 850fps. I believe the Remington stuff I have is more like 1200fps. Again, thanks and hope you're not offended by my reply.

Thank you series70guy, but it's a long way from Navarre, FL, to that range - just noticed that you're in Mississippi. That will teach me to look more closely at the computer screen next time. Sadly, I don't shoot as much as I used to. I have the desire, but this old body doesn't always want to cooperate.

    Best wishes,
    Jerry

    Jerry,
Is there someplace there to shoot the old rifles? I have a brother in Shalimar. Maybe I could come over one weekend and we could go shoot them.

    Tim,

I don't know. I'll ask my son, who lives nearby and let you know.

I haven't shot a rifle in years, although I still own quite a few. I used to hunt a lot and reload lots of calibers, but I have some mobility and breathing issues which have put a damper on any strenuous activity.

I'm retired law enforcement and love to shoot handguns, although for the past two years I've only been to the range once a year for my retired law enforcement concealed carry permit. We have an indoor range nearby - I think it's $10 for as long as you want to shoot - and I hope to try it soon. My son gave me a pass for two sessions for my birthday.

    Nice chatting.

    Jerry
