I built my first AR a couple years ago, and it turned out a good shooter, but I rushed and kinda cut corners on quality parts. Decided last fall that I’d build one the way I wanted to the first time. I’d take my time and get the parts I wanted when I could afford them.

    Ended up with this:
    355946A0-5ACB-4695-86A8-D519F798900B.jpg

    Lower parts:
Aero Precision X15 stripped lower in FDE.
    Magpul trigger guard.
Seekins Precision 60 degree ambi safety selector.
    Seekins Precision bolt catch release.
    Bravo Company PNT trigger.
    Magpul K2+ grip.
    SB Tactical SBA3 pistol brace.

    Upper parts:
    Noveske Gen I stripped upper.
    Noveske Flaming Pig dust cover.
    Noveske forward assist.
Noveske marked Geissele Super Badass charging handle.
Daniel Defense 10.3” cold hammer forged barrel.
    Geissele Mk4 9.5” rail system.
    SureFire 3 prong flash hider.
    SureFire Warden blast deflector.

Holosun 515GM military grade optic with EOtech style reticle.
    Magpul MBUS iron sights.

Sweet little blaster, sometimes it all worth the wait. Now that backdrop you have, that's all sorts of sexy!!!!! All kidding aside, let me know how you like the warden. I've always thought they were cool. Its has that mini surpresser look to it.

Thank ya. I like the Warden. This 10.3” barrel is loud and throws a big fireball. The Warden does a good job of redirecting it down range and keeps your neighbors on the firing line happy and with their hearing intact.

    Great looking build!

How is the quality of AERO products? I always hear people using them in builds, but didn't know if it was due to the costs...or quality...or both?

In my opinion, they’re pretty awesome. Have had zero fit and finish problems with mine. They have a great reputation.

Gonna echo the OP on this one - Aero has become my go-to when it comes to AR stuff. I really like the finish on their receivers. It feels a lot smoother and looks better than Spikes / PSA / Anderson at a similar price point, and they have neat features like the upper / lower fit screw and the bolt catch screw.

How is the fireball with the Warden? I'm probably going to start a pistol build soon and was curious about it. Right now I'm looking at a WarComp / Warden combo or a PWS CQB.

Ditto. Them and Ballistic Advantage are great parts for the money. I have a BA Hanson barrel right now that is excellent.

Big from what I can tell.
I plan to building something similar with a short barrel, but I plan to go 300 blkout with the thought that the blast will be less, especially if I load subsonic with 200 grain plus bullets. Sort of equivalent to a .45 ACP P+.
