Heard tell there was one that was declared "Unrepairable" at a local motorcycle shop...they couldn't find the parts that it needed. Strangely enough, I have one of these bikes and wouldn't mind a dead one to pull parts from...especially since they only made the VT500C for four years...altho, it might go the other way around...it may be cheaper for me to pull the engine from mine and stick it in a donor bike frame.
So, if the owner of the dead one happens to be a member here...let me know
