    For both? That is what I have been using, but was wondering if there was something better.

    Oh yeah. Sometimes I switch it up and use CLP but I don't notice much of a difference on my glocks.

    When I notice the brass start to slow down on ejection (2:00 instead of 3:30-4) my go to is CLP or Frog Lube if I'm feeling fancy. In all honesty though, 5w30 synthetic is just fine too.

    I guess im just a bit old school and have always used just CLP. If they are really dirty and I'm feeling lazy I'll use Gun scrubber to clean them and oil afterwards. Although I've been using larue tactical machine gunners lube on heavy days and seems to work well. Was a bit skeptical at first but I was given a free bottle and its G2G. Smells a bit like motor oil though.

    I used hoppe's #9 for years until just recently. I switched to CLP a few months ago and I love it. I especially like the fact it's a lube and preservative as well. If I have a real nasty build up of carbon like I do around my gas rings on my BCG sometimes, I will soak it with some #9 to get it loose and then finish it off with CLP.

    With the Ballistol and the CLP, do ya'll wipe it all off? Basically not leaving any residue.

    I'll leave some on the barrel and inner part of the slide.... I wipe everything else because I can't stand the smell, lol.

    Cleaner - -> Break Free CLP,Hoppe's,Ballistol,etc,etc.
    Lube - -> nowadays I use pretty much all grease. Reel Lube is a good one. So is Tetra Gun and a couple others. Put in in the correct spot,and use it sparingly. Learning your weapons mechanics is mandatory to "spot lube". --- SAWMAN

    I apply grease to my weapons with the big end of a flat toothpick or just the tip of a cotton swab. ---- SAWMAN
