The Spanish Republican Government purchased about 40,000 vz24's for use in the Spanish Civil War, 1936-1939. This is one of them, cal. 8MM Mauser. I don't see any import marks on this one but the bolt number is not matching to the receiver.
You must be an Alabama resident, 18 years of age or over and not prohibited from owning firearms. I will transfer the gun to an FFL dealer or C&R licensee in another state but the buyer must pay all transfer expenses. $325.00
    PM here for more info.
    Thanks for looking.

Happy St. Pat's Day! Can you tell us what is stamped on the left and top of the receiver ring? I am enjoying the 1916 Mauser!

The BRNO crest is intact but I can't get a good pic of it. The acceptance marks have been stippled over showing that the gun was removed from Czech service when it was sold to Spain.

Pictures added 3/24/19. I smeared some silicon caulk on the receiver so the crest would show up and wiped it off before it dried.

Nice BRNO Crest. Looks like it still has the distinctive winged guard on the front sight too.

I'd be happy to ship it to a dealer in Gulf Breeze for actual shipping cost or work with you to do a legal transfer. LMK.
