Got one of these for my Glock 42 and the fit and function was so good that I ordered two more for my Glock 31,32,and 33.
My application is for the gun that sits on the nightstand or by my easy chair, that I want quick access to but yet want the trigger guard protected.
I shortened the "pull chord" and installed a somewhat large brass ring at the end. Thought about doing the same with a "monkey's fist".
The protector goes on and comes off with a distinct "snap". When installed it is tight without movement.
The pic is a UMT pic. (No Glock should have to endure being that color.) --- SAWMAN
ADDED: The release pull is streight down perpendicular with the slide.

The first one I ever saw was the "MIC Holster" ("Minimal Inside-waistband Carry", or something like that). Then he got copied, a lot. You can find the MIC Holster on Amazon for about $22.

One MIC holster, plus a ClipDraw on the slide, made for very slim and Safe IWB carry.
I prefer a different setup now, but it's still an effective combo.
