The concept of Slavery Reparations has been around for decades and only resurfaces to increase the political driven racial divide, while allegedly its intent is to heal old wounds of the dead.

The newer and wider scope of reparations is still based on political driven racial division but encompasses every possible or hypothetical mental or physical deterrent to black progress in all aspects of their lives WITHOUT blacks accepting any responsibility for their own self inflected depreciating actions.

Is it not the individual who advances on their own merits or fails of their own devices? Blacks have risen to the top in just about all possible jobs in the U.S. Those positions not gained are strictly a matter of no desire great enough to do so. It is more an issue of individual application of oneself then a issue of "denied opportunities".

Community economics, growth or decay and civil obedience (crime rates) are a reflection of its residents and for the most part is self perpetuating. Clearly the standard of people being part of the solution or part of the problem exists but the other option is to find greener pastures or route to achieve it.

Not a single penny of wealth was ever accumulated without some form of initiating work as its source. You get what you or prior family has worked for. The exemption being recipients of social welfare type programs. (Hmmmm)

There are criminal and civil Laws against racial discrimination, People can get "justice" on specific issues/events. There is no broad swath of "just cause I perceive general un-equality": somebody owes you something.

There is no such thing as media or race baiter invented "white privileged". Segregation was abolished by Law as was equal opportunity labor Laws. People are who they are regardless of the pigment of their skin. When their is no vioation of discrimination Laws, white privilege is tossed into the conversation as an unspecified blanket of alleged oppression. The fact is we have had a black President elected both time with more white votes than black votes. We also have white people on welfare rolls so where is their white privilege? We all know of Rich Privilege, but that line only feeds the positions of socialists and communists and not racially diversive but often tied to minority calls for income equality. White privilege is just a new whiping boy term just a male privilege was an excuse for media to beat the testosterone out of the male image and replace it with some shit called a Beta Male.

Our skin color and biology is what it is. I don't bitch because my DNA rendered me unable to dunk a basket ball and all the education, training and practice the World isn't going to change that. Like climate change, would we call blacks that lighten their skin, straighten their hair or color it: race deniers? No, its a non-issue.

Personal preference association. Yep, we voluntarily socialize with persons that fall within our comfort zones. Individually that may be restrictive or not. Are ther biases? Yes,since the dawn of man we have gathered within our comfort zones for security. Not even the Gov can change that. It is what it is and there is nothing wrong with it except you limit your own experience.

What reparations are owed to blacks for adverse or perceived adverse events/conditions encountered by blacks from slavery through to today? Absolutely nothing. Man's evolution, development, environment, war and humanity or lack there of is a continuous process. Different Clans, peoples, countries have conquered and enslaved each other throughout written history. There is no redress that can actually fix preceived latent issues. Should Romans pay the Greeks, Germany pay most of Europe and Japan pay Asia and Pacific Rim Countries? Nope, there are occasional apologies for what thats worth, just as the US. apologized for slavery already.

Bottom line its predominantly politically driven but potential recipients will rally for it like looters respond to a riot for free stuff.

No government action required, not even a democrat committee whose only true purpose is to increase the racial divide and draw in dem motivated voters who think its a ticket to free stuff.

My problem with reparations is how far back do you go? Egyptians owned many slaves of many races, Romans owned many slaves of many races, Japan, China. Etc. Etc. Etc. Social outcome was altered by EVERY race at some point in history. There is no way to add up who is owed what for all of history. I don't condone slavery, but it also wasn't anyone alive todays fault. So if we go back 100 years we gotta go back 200 then 300 then ALL the way.

Personally imo... The AFRICANS that captured and sold their country men into Slavery instead of killing them should PAY ALL THE REPARATIONS.... Ohhhhhhhh Wait... They don't have any money over there at all
