Well, trying to figure out whether to upgrade from an old-fashioned battery to a new AGM/Gel, or a Lithium on my motorcycle.
About $25 difference between the two, so I'm inclined to go Lithium,
seeing as it'll probably last way longer overall.

But would love to hear about anyone's experiences!!

I didn't know you needed to "Wake up" a lithium ion battery in cold weather!

Generally I have had to replace motorcycle batteries every 2-3 years. I don't run trickle chargers when bikes are not ridden for a few months. This has been standard for several decades from ATVs to Chops with S&S 107s. I'd rather have a fresh battery every few years than seeing how log I can stretch battery life for $25. I get the biggest CCA rating available in the battery size I need. I'm not warm and fuzzy on rechargeable lithium batteries yet. Not all configurations have had issues but there have been enough that I'll steer clear of them when possible.

From the vid Link I posted, Lithium Ion Cons: if it drains below 11 volts it could be ruined. Wrong type charger will destroy it, overcharging will destroy it, you can't jump start it. Pros: much lighter weight, more CCA, longer Life. Smaller size may require "shims" if fitment isn't right.

The HD fitment batteries prices were several hundred dollars different.
