I picked these up from my buddy close to Atmore. He was close by helping teach a Guerrilla Sniper Class at Arena and brought them to me.
I thought it might be a good training aid for me and fun for my grands. The 2nd is going to a buddy in NC.

He has one more of the Mark 12s and a 54 Match complete with a 15X Lyman scope in a wooden box.

I'm trying to get them cleaned up a little and can't seem to get a clean patch...just used Montana's and Shooter Choice so far. The barrel is shiny...just wanted it good and clean before I ran a borescope down them.

Going to be a fun new toy for me I think

Picked up a few boxes to try. Had to do trigger work on it first...my SKS has less creep than this. I do not ever remember shooting with a set of sight like these. There is a first for everything I guess. Not real fond of the sight picture it gives me but I struggled through it

Walked it in with the wolf...didn't shoot a clean 5 shot group with it...think it might be OK

It didn't like the Eley Benchrest it seems for this 5 shot group

I believe it likes the S-K another 5 shot group

ordered a pack of front sight inserts from Lyman for the sight. Followed someone's advice and used the post with the ball on top since it was going to be closer to the current zero I thought.

Went to my first ever .22 match and shot the match.
I went down and put up my target with everyone else. When I got back the RO said he didn't realize I was shooting open sights and suggested I go change mine out. I looked him square in the eyes and told him that sure was a long way there and back :D. After getting to my turn and looking at that red target with open sights made me wish I had followed his advice..I was there for fun...even though it was a competition...lets roll.

I tried real had to get me something I felt I could run with...here is my sighter target

Got close and moved to the targets...shot bottom to top on both targets..5 rounds each target

Second relay I changed them to the open sight targets and they have 10 in each target.

Checked with a sighter to make sure things were good
