Many pets do get abandoned on the roadside, but beagles do roam and it could be really lost. Probably happens a lot for cats also. My dogs caught a very long, but thin cat not long ago on my place. A neighbor phoned me about it and I went up abd retrieved carcass of the poor cat. Dogs have been abandoned on my driveway. The little fellow that came into the yard and I called the dogs off was left alone, but was ill, died about a wk latter.
Tried Facebook pages, in fact found she’s been spotted throughout Santa Rosa for a couple of weeks.
No chip, no tags.
She doesn’t like my dachshund at all so I think she’s better as an only dog. Gets along with people and loved my son.
If anyone wants a good deer trailer or rabbit dog, pm me and we will make it happen.
I have had 2 beagles, down to one now...when that nose hits the ground, those ears quit...
mine always straggled back , hours or 1-2 days later....take pictures, print a couple dozen, cover them in saran wrap, post them in the local store, light poles on corners near stopsigns….
