Some of them don’t even flip parties at all. Look at Florida. Half of the Republicans here vote like Democrats on immigration and gun bills, which many people believe are two of the top three issues. And when I say “half”, I know it may be more than that. But even worse that that, the ones who vote like Democrats hold some very influential positions, such as Senate President, President Pro Tem, and a couple seats on the very important Judiciary Committee.

Florida is a very odd legislature now. We’ve got it strongly controlled by Republicans who vote often to side with the Democrats.

Wouldn’t be a big problem, but the Republican voters in Florida either don’t notice or they prefer it that way.

I think they probably don’t notice.

That would require a recall, something that the Florida Republican voters are most likely too lethargic to pull together in most districts. If Jayer Williamson or Doug Broxson flipped to the Democrats, I’m not even sure we could pull off a recall on them in our area. If we couldn’t do it here, I doubt anywhere else in the state could.

    That’s what I was thinking.
Ortega-Cortez is the darling of their party and Republicans are too extreme? Ha.

This is what worries me, especially with the latest gun bills passed and now HB-135 being introduced, I think we all need to keep the pressure on our reps to ensure they vote in our favor.

They are not accountable to us because we will not hold them accountable.

We will all complain for the duration of their term in office and then when it comes time to vote, we’ll brow beat each other to just vote for the Republican who has the best chance of winning, because voting any other way is the same as voting for Literally Hillary.

And we’ll have more of the same. We have no backbone.

Occasio-Cortez isn’t the darling of her party. Half of her colleagues hate her already and it hasn’t even been 6 weeks since she started.

My guess is that most politicians hate many other politicians, especially a relative new comer that is in the media lime light. Did that many democrappy politicians really love Hillary C?

I am pretty sure that senior dems will craft a clever way for the latest 3 youngs dems, (commies/socialist) to be removed or lose office within few years. Only time will tell. But the GOp needs to stand up against them and fight for their people and our country.
