    I have a gen 2 glock 19.

    I would like an EXTRA frame for it.

    a Gen 3 or 4.

    I heard both will work...

    IS THIS TRUE? I want the bottom rail for a light.

    I know with the Polymer80 frames, they are made to fit gen 1-3 slides. Gen 4 has a different recoil spring setup. I am not sure if a factory gen 4 frame will work with gen 3 and older slides though.

    Thanks... I am a mechanical IDIOT...

    and Honest enough to admit this.

    I will look into. Saw some complete gen 3 frames for about 115 shipped then ffl fee(30 here)so 145

    Polymer80?? I will check into it on Youtube to see IF I can do this myself

    Look at glock store they have stripped frame for 50 or 75 dollars. And a glock slide gen 1-3 will work on gen 3 or 4 frame. Just on the gen 4 frame you have to get a space adapter for the recoil spring and it fill the space between slide and frame.
