Most shops around here don’t have them in stock anymore. Guess the line was limited to 5,000. I paid $1200 (abt $200 over msrp when they first released). Now the cheapest I’ve seen online is at $1300, to as much as $2,000. This is obviously the commemorative version, the production number has no relevance, just put it on the info if someone was curious.

I have seen them listed for as low as $1122 and $1199, but they are not in stock. One place had them listed for $1399, but out of stock as well. $1200 is not unreasonable for the Commerative M17.

    From SIG SAUER's website:

Only 5,000 M17-Commemorative Edition pistols have been produced for sale, and each SIG SAUER M17-Commemorative pistol is serialized M17-0001 through M17-5000 and includes the Army’s required unique identifier (UID). The M17 is sold in the same cardboard packaging as delivered to the U.S. Army. From the pistol to the packaging, the M17-Commemorative Edition is identical to the U.S. Army’s official M17 service pistol.

Does your M17 have serial number M17-0367?

Here is something else that is important.

Upon registration of the M17-Commemorative pistol, the purchaser will receive an official certificate of authenticity and commemorative challenge coin, both with serial numbers matching the purchased M17-Commemorative pistol.

Has this pistol been registered with SIG SAUER at this point? If so, do you possess the above items?

I possess all the original paperwork. It has not been sent in for the official certificate through Sig, I had originally planned on doing it when I purchased the display box but the display box wasn’t available at the time. And yes, the serial number is 0367.

Yeah there is a Sig P320 M17 and a M17 Commemorative. The commemorative is identical to the US Standard issue M17. The P320 M17 is not and doesn’t include the government stamping..etc.

I will say this, if I had the cash, I would buy this Commemorative M17. I want a FDE M17.
Alas, either way, spare cash is the issue.

Haha, story of my life brother. I’m very much so open to trades as well. I had originally planned on keeping this (my father always told me stories about how he should of bought all the Colt Snakes) but the temptation of shooting it is too much. Figured I’d see what’s out there in terms of shooting grade firearms.

For what it's worth for anyone wanting a commemorative M17, the BX at Eglin AFB sells it for under $1,000.00 and yes, always has at least 2 in stock. If you have base access and Exchange privileges, and want a commemorative M17, it's a heck of a deal.

If I still had access, I would jump on that. Unfortunately, I am still waiting to hear from this seller.

Just saw the one at Eglin last week. They said they got two in but one was on special order so the one on the shelf was the only one available.
