Now does $5 billion for the wall seem like a lot? How much more than $5 billion does it cost the taxpayers if we let them in?

For you who hold public office we have to ask just "How Stupid do you Think Americans Are?"

And then the next question is just "How Long do you Think Americans Are Going to PUT UP WITH THIS ? ? ?"

Hopefully, many Americans will be broadcasting these facts and figures UNTIL you act to do something about it ! ! !

Is Paying Taxes ...My Civic Duty ? ? ?

It's easy to dismiss individual programs that benefit non-citizens until they're all put together and this picture emerges.

Someone did a lot of research to put together all this data. Often these programs are buried within other programs making i t difficult to find each of them .

The following 11 reasons should be forwarded over and over again until they are read so many times that the readers gets sick of reading them. Included are the URL's for verification of all the following facts.

I don't think this whole wall thing really matters at this point in time. Have you been to Miami, Texas, or California lately? A wall will do no good now, there already here. The wall should have been put up a minimum of 50 to a 100 years ago. I just got back from a month in Houston, almost everywhere I went all I heard was Spanish being spoken, go in any grocery store and most of the labels are in Spanish. I started wondering if I was still in the US. Same thing the last trip I took to Miami. Even around where I live, tiny little towns have at least one Mexican restaurant in them. Twenty years ago none of them had one. If you can't beat em join em I'm currently taking Spanish lessons :).

30 years ago my teachers said I needed to learn Spanish because English was going to be a second language in 50 years.....it's happening. Don't know a lick of Spanish and don't care. I'm proud to be an ignorant American.

the wall is simply a metaphor for border security and there are many methods. Some areas actually need a fixed barrier and others do not. What we really need is immigration reform, no anchor babies and immediate return of all illegals, means testing and no welfare support allowed just to start with. 5 billion is nothing to what we spend annually on illegal aliens

I'm thinking of changing party's to democrat, just so I can vote out Pelosi and Schumer during the primaries when they come up for re-election.

The sad and scary part is usually the person that is running against Pelosi is more liberal than her... Let that sink in.

The wall will help a little but at this point, we don’t have the backbone as a country to reverse what’s happening. Only a few years ago, non-Hispanic white kids were already less than 50% of the under 5 year old population in the US. Now non-Hispanic white kids make up less than 50% of the elementary school population in the US. In a few more years they’ll be less than 50% of the under 18 population. So on and so on.

But we only have two parties in the US, and one says that’s a good thing and should be accelerated at all costs, and the other says it’s a good thing and should be accelerated as long as it’s “done legally”.

If you think it’s a good thing (or that it doesn’t matter) that in your lifetime white people will be a minority in the US, then you’re the problem.

It’s too late for a wall to stop what’s happening. The only thing we can do is to hold onto our guns so that the minorities have a harder time treating us as badly as they BELIEVE we have treated them. They sure as hell are not going to treat us as well as we have ACTUALLY treated them.

The cost of the wall has nothing to do with why there is no wall...its not about 5 billion. A good wall will, contrary to many people's beliefs, slow down illegal crossing and make running drugs more difficult...no, it won't stop it, but it will curb some of it...think like your gun safe or security systems...professional thieves can and will defeat those obstacles though they enhance security and diminish threats and deter the non-expert thieving which does in fact, lower crime....again, why do you lock doors...you know any determined thief can get in...your house could be watched to see your patterns...not really that hard, but much criminality doesn't happen that way and the common thug checking door knobs will move on.

Illegal entry would be diminished and much more difficult. The drug runners will run their drugs and they will find new ways...the struggle is eternal...but stop leaving the door open!!! Someone wants the door to be open and I don't think it is actually most of the politicians resisting...there is big money behind this and all the politicians are concerned with is funding and reelection...even at the expense of citizens...were are "peasants" to them... a faceless, nameless mob of people that arrogant politicians regard mostly as useful idiots....I think the population acts more as sheep and there are individuals that know better but they are the minority and therefore do not wield any political power.

People like to pick sides...most people I know pick a side (left or right) and neither side has the individuals best interest in mind..its actually not possible. The biggest commonality I find in people left vs right is that people who are left leaning tend to have much more faith in government than people on the right. Most young people lean left and later in life, when the realities of life become apparent, will start leaning the other direction a bit when the idealistic view of the world fades and the stark realities of work, taxes and raising a family set in....doesn't mean they flip parties, just the idealism leaves to be replaced by reality.

We are all influenced by the media and our education both formal and informal. I personally believe our country changed in a significant way on November 22, 1963...more than most will know. This wall is about the "fundamental transformation" of our country. The money is nothing but a talking point. Niccolo Machiavelli authored what amounts to a job application called "the Prince". It is written in old Italian and as such has to be translated and with every translation, the meaning/words are altered and lost but in essence it is a document read by all lawyers about how to accumulate territory and hold them...it is where the notion "the end justifies the means" was first introduced to me. Changing the language and genetics of a population are ways to transform countries.

Now who wants to transform the country, the world and wants to collect power and control (collectivism)...and has the money to do so? That is why we don't have a wall and why we are squabbling about a thing so basic and so obvious.

it is a much more dangerous time to vote liberal, as once the socialists gain power, they will not give it up when the ones who elected them trend to the conservative side...it will be too late.

I call myself an idealistic realist... but the reality of the next 5 years I fear, will stun many people if the left gets their way.

Your self identification has many contradictions...one day maybe we will meet! Computers have a way of magnifying certain elements of communication and my experience has always been, no matter what party or politics you identify with, most always people are pretty decent and I enjoy talking about all things, especially poliics...we just disagree on some points, love to debate even when we're in violent agreement.

Of what I know about labels, I think most would put me in a "libertarian" category...but be warned...that label has been bastardized and misunderstood badly...most don't have a good grasp of what it means and certainly I am not a walking dictionary either...I believe in limited government, freedom of choice so long as it does not hurt another and with that freedom comes responsibility and accountability. I just want to be left alone...but there are those who covet and need what others have and the rest is a sales pitch to persuade people to give away the product of their efforts for some false promise of security or wealth...or just appealing to envy is enough.

We all, no matter what your skin color, your religion, your wealth, come into this world in the exact same condition...naked and ignorant. Most everything else is learned as we have very few survival instincts. Genetics play a part in your style of learning and your capacity to learn, but make no mistake about it...we've all been programmed so to speak in certain ways of thinking.

The point has been made that already tremendous numbers have illegally entered in recent years. But a whole lot more on the the way from failed countries below our southern borders. Instead of staying in their own countries to fix them, people will be coming here in waves. A physical barrier is needed of some sort. Venezuela for example is collapsing. We could end up with half of latin america here if the democraps have their way.
