Which I wish I had purchased one of, before the company folded.

I haven't seen any pricing and with it being a kel-tec, I'm guessing I won't see them anytime soon.

22LR is waaaay cheaper, just as "reliable" as 22mag, and suppresses MUCH nicer.

So: accurate, suppressor-ready, negligible recoil, 33 or 50 rounds onboard, "iron" sights, optic-friendly, inexpensive ammo, and apparently mag-dumps without malfunction.

This looks to be a fun gun.

Also doesn't hurt that with or without a suppressor, it looks like a gun that you'd click into the pincher grip of a classic Star Wars action figure...

Yes please!! I'll take 2. Now I just need to teach the kids how to load mags.

I'm loving it, but I'll probably be around 60 before it becomes viable on the market ;)
About 8 years average from Introduction, to Sales at 2-5 times the MSRP,
to actually available at MSRP or below it on average for Keltec's in the last twenty years.
The CMR-30 is just now selling at MSRP lately...last year it was at double MSRP.
Before that it was UNOBTANIUM ;)

You know I just realized that I have never shot a Kel-tec ANYTHING ?

I've got a couple Grendels & Keltecs...they go Bang! like anything else,
and are inexpensive at the local Pawn Shops.

They are the BEST way to shoot .22WMR in semi-auto that you can buy new today.
I've had a few .22WMR pistols & rifles that have not worked so well.
The number of rifles other than Keltec's CMR that can do it well are THREE...
    the Marlin 922M & the H&R 300...both discontinued around 20 years ago.
Ruger's 1022M got started & stopped 5 times before being sold off to Volquartzen...
VQ does it right, but at over 1K to buy. The 1022M only works right if you put a buncha
Volquartzen parts in it...and by the time you do that, might as well have ponied up
    for the VQ version ;)
Everything else chambered in .22WMR has failed to impress...or work right ;)

Same for pistols, Keltec/Grendel managed to make two that worked, PMR30 & the P30,
everyone else has had issues. AMT had the Automag II, but it sucked.
Hi Standard of Houston bought the rights, made them for awhile,
then got bit in the butt by the failures in the design...HS is now CLOSED.
    Excel's Accellerator is a heavy sucker, only has a 10-rd mag...and jams.
Nobody else has been able to even get a moderately decent semi-auto pistol going.

Reasons are twofold...first is the ammo itself. Rimfire is not as efficient as centerfire.
Making sure there's sufficient primer in the rim of the case gets tricky.
For example, your average box O' Remington Golden Bullets (.22lr) ratios out to having
around 20 duds per box of 500...sometimes more.
With a revolver or bolt-action rifle you can simply spin the round and try again.
With a semi-auto, that gets a bit tricky to do.

Second is the ammo shape itself, the rimmed cartridge is harder to make work in a box-style mag,
overlap and hangups happen due to the shape being dealt with.

But somehow Grendel/Keltec managed to get a 30-round magazine to work!!
That in itself is pretty amazing! The best Marlin could do was a 15-round mag in the 922M!
    And the H&R 300 was a 7-round jobber!

    I don't expect a Keltec to be as solid & long-lasting as a S&W 3rd Gen.
They're inexpensive plastic guns that each do a specific job.
Keltec gets copied more by Ruger & other companies than one can imagine.
George Kellgren is a genius, and other ride his weapons design coattails.
He makes fun guns...and at a price point most everyone can enjoy!

Big Shrek, any experience with the remington 597 magnum? Bought mine for small hogs on the river but its a safe queen so far. Worst I hear of is not being able to load the mag to full capacity.

That one I've not tried, or even seen in person...
Are there any issues with it that it's become a safe queen?

Let's see what the top ten forums say...gimme a minit ;)

Remington has discontinued the Magnum version completely...
make of that what you will.

From what I've read, the trigger sucked, but VQ & JARD have nice trigger/hammer replacements.
Ergh...also has an extraction issue which it can fire from open bolt when dirty,
problem is reportedly solved with a VQ Extractor...and really regular cleaning.
Watch out for the mags, sometimes they suck like 522 Viper mags...
So it sounds like it can be a good rifle, just needs some high-quality parts to work properly,
and a few tweaks regarding the guide rods, guide rod set screws, & some other stuff.

Here's the Remington Forum that everyone loves...tons of tweak info.
    https://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=218

There's also a secondary .22WMR forum on the main page, so you
can go back & forth reading all the pertinent info at your convenience :)
Be a good way to kill a rainy weekend!

    Cool :)
Well, read up on their guts inner workings on RFC, and that should get you prepared for any issues,
if any show up. Some are quite happy out of the box...others, not so much.
Kinda funny, it's got almost the same problems the Ruger 1022M had before VQ & Magnum Research
    took the project over...

Kinda lucked out, I'd read about the 1022M having issues, and picked up a Marlin Camp 922M instead!
Runs like a dadgum Singer sewing machine! Even has no problems with the 15-rd mags!
First time I took it out to the range, used Irons...ended up giving it a Nikon scope because it shot so sweet!
Shown with the 7-rd standard mag...

I'm disappointed in the looks of the CP33. Its not even close to the PMR "pistol" outline. On the contrary, it has a much closer "body" resemblance to the CMR just no sholder stock or extending barrel.......... BINGO! Slap on the stock and 16inch barrel to make 26 inch AOL and you have the next KelTec product: Carbine 22LR Version.
