I saw a couple of CP-33 pistols bid up over $600 each on Gunbroker.

    Hope they enjoy being Beta-testers!!
Keltec and most other gun MFR's have gone to letting
    the End-User do the QC.
Which is another reason to wait until they're easily available...
remember the PMR-30 issue that showed up??
    Giant recall...new barrels...
Same with Ruger & everyone else these days...unless issues are reported,
they keep making them as they originally did...Ruger's got more recalls than Chevy!!

Great thread. I’ve shot a friends keltec and talked to lots of people who say they have them and all had issues but the owners all love them. Not sure what to make of it really lol

    ^^^----- This.

I just want those beta-testers to get the kinks worked out of the new hotness, so I can enjoy a "Gen-2" CP33 asap.

While they're at it, where the heck is the folding stock for the Ruger PC Carbine, or the 45 conversion bolt and barrel? I know: entirely different thread.

I haven't seen any claims that somebody is using a PMR as a primary protection firearm. Recall/fix aside, I hear some PMR/CMR run great as long as you load the mags right and use ammo "it" prefers (might no be most accurate from same gun). "Fun guns" get a bit more slack if the owner doesn't mind putting up things they wouldn't tolerate with a duty, defense or hunting firearm.

I did carry its predecessor the Grendel P-30 because it was slightly smaller and still held 30 rounds...
figured with 30 rounds, didn't matter how many were coming, cause they'd all be running by shot 20 ;)

Currently have a Keltec P11 and a Grendel P10 in my carry rotation!

And yeah, the FUN factor plays high with these!!
