    Colt Python, blued, 4”.
This gun wasn’t taken very good care of by the previous owner. It has some rust and some pitting.
I was thinking I would send it back to Colt for refinishing but I’ve decided I don’t want to mess with it.
Use as a shooter or refinish. It’s cheap as far as Pythons go.
That's wood grain on the grips, not a crack.
Seems solid and functions fine. I have not shot it.

    $1,400. SOLD SOLD SOLD

Old LEO gun with holster wear.... I used the same gun through the Academy, it's the same gun my ole man used in the academy when went through it and then his carry gun when he worked at Escambia. One gun I told the kids when I die they better cherish and never sell or I'd come back from the grave and haunt em!!!

    GLWS!

Can you check the serial # to see when it was made? Also do you think the pitting and rust could be fixed if Colt refinished it or is it too deep?

I checked the serial # and it looks like it was made in 1972.
