    Even if they were searching her room and found a gun safe, their feelings would still be hurt, and they wouldn't be able to sleep at night or function knowing that there was a gun sitting there that could just go off at any minute and kill a hundred people.

    I'd put up a sign that read "you might not believe in God, that's your choice. You might not believe in guns, that's your right. However, when an intruder breaks into your home the first thing you'll do is call someone with a gun, and pray they show up quickly ".
    I got that off a fb meme long ago. Thought it was great

    Well, how would they know it was a gun safe??

    Lots of folks have small drawer safes, midsize jewelry safes, and even large office-style safes.
    Unless it has BROWNING or some sillyness branding it as a gun safe, all they know is it's a safe.
    Could be ANYTHING inside.
    And I'd tell 'em, if asked, that it held all my Important Papers & Thesis...dang sure
    wouldn't mention that it held a gun ;)

    And there are SO many new furniture options that HIDE guns :)
