Great. I take you all are properly grounding you antenna and mast to your 8 foot copper rod in the ground or added a grounding point for the air antenna?

Ok Update... I ended up just using a Clear Stream antenna because it was free. A friend gave it to me and I was gonna use for the cabin in the woods. I will just get another for that later.

So I use the existing Dish base and extended it higher because I was concerned with the antenna pointing right into the 240VAC 200 amp service feed coming into the house.

I also used the existing Cat6 cable that was installed in the house.

This is just a temp install to test at the moment but things are looking up.

Next is to play and test the Table over the air DVR system...

My TV freq tester looks promising alot of channels with high gain. I installed the Channel Master Amp in the house and still looks good. Really should to be at the antenna...

Nothing to do with TV, But I got my Cell Phone Booster 850Mhz today.

For The Cabin in the Woods. Just running some tests on it with my Spectrum Analyzer. Looks like it putting out the proper Freq...

It came with an Yagi Receiver Antenna... Nice!

Ok more pics... This Tablo Air TV DVR is the bomb... I love it :)

Paired with the Nvidia Shield Android Box and my movie hard drive. Pretty nice setup. Once we setup an account with Hulu or what have ya... Cable TV will be GONE in the wind!!!

Setup a couple of shows to record just to test. Works perfect.

    Ha ha another post...

Added a ground wire 8 Gauge grounding copper. Will be attached to the mast and the antenna. Also the quad shielded RG 6 cable that goes to the antenna is grounded.

Waited a while but we officially gave Mediacom the boot on cable TV side today. Saving about 60 something a month and just using Air Antenna and two streaming services.

Just tested the waters before we dumped cable TV.

Well Daezee and I meet up at my property to do a little shooting and played with an extra antenna I had. He wanted to see how many channels I would get up in the Allentown area.

Well we got everything that I get at home and we just had the antenna up on a stick. LOL

    Test was 100% successful

Tried a couple of different Amp's. Even one that I picked up at the Flee market for $1 worked perfect.

Got 39 channels, although some were "dupes" such as CBS standard definition and CBS high definition. Without the amp, we got nothing. Several channels I never heard of. I wanted to experiment, as Directv no longer has CBS and NBC.

Which amp did you use? I need to add one to my antenna

Out there we used one I picked up from the flee market as a spare and it's similar to this.

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rca-Indoor-Antenna-Amplifier/282831689054

The one I use at the house is this.

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Channel-Ma...ignal-Distribution-Amplifier-NEW/201094224765

I just got a splitter from best buy (Retail Buy) I call it that passes DC one way. I need to get the amp as close to the antenna and running it near the TV right now. So I can use the 12VDC injector plugged in the house and have the amp outside near the antenna.

Probably going to change that today.
