Yep your right it’s s full tang, one single piece of s30v all the way thru the handle. G10 grips bolted onto each side.

I’m not a fan of the serrations though, I wish they would have gone with the type found on the kabar

As to why it looks so good...well I have only taken it out of its box a few times since I was issued it. I know some guys that have taken theirs on deployments or hunts and put some good wear and tear on it. I don’t blame em, it’s a heck of s knife.

Being the real deal knife serial numbered to me with papers and all that, I want to keep it pristine as I can and will it to my son. He appreciates what it means and hopefully he teaches his son too. I would roll over in my grave if some great great grandson pawned my knife someday lol.

Maybe I’ll just be buried with it lol.

The knife that I was referring to was not simply full tang, the ENTIRE knife was one piece of metal.
Possibly not a Reeve knife but thought it was.
The time period was in about 1980.
Frank, being Veterans day and all . . . post the pics that I took of you dads dislpay at the Naval Aviation Museum. Maybe a brief story of how he earned what he was awarded. I believe that it would be apporpriate. --- SAWMAN

Some of mine. Have had these for quite some time now. All have been used for "this or that".

I bought a great Bolo while in the P.I. Made from a leaf spring the Negrito said and there wasn't a pretty thing about it. The grip was magical for a weight forward blade as was the edge that would cut hardwood, bamboo, vines, stringy plant or drag its weight across cloth. You could rest the handle on your leg then "palm" the blade forward of the angle and do fine work too. One of the best things you could by for under $10 and you didn't need to get a shot later! Lol

The great boys at Skallywag Tactical teamed up with Marine veteran Steve Reichert to create this bad beast of a knife.
