Gun runs fine with everything without the can. Slap the can on and shoot cheap ammo and it is a jamm o matic. The better quality ammo shoots better but it is wildly unreliable even then. It jams about once per mag as opposed to every other round.
I had a Remington 597 that was junk and would do the same thing. I put a volquartsen extractor and it has yet to jam since. It’s now one of my favorite 22 rifles.
I am going to order one for the victory but wanted to ask if anyone here had similar experiences and what you may have done to fix it.

    Thanks

I've got a victory that gets light primer strikes but I'm going to go ahead and chalk it up to it being dirty as I have yet to clean it and it's only ever been shot suppressed.

Semi-auto pistols weren't generally made to function in semi-auto mode
when suppressed. This is why older pistols had a slide lock for shooting
when suppressed...manual cocking was suggested after each shot for best
use because it's quieter that way.

    Modern expectations are somewhat different.
