Who knows a local gunsmith that can cut a rifle barrel down and reinstall the front sight?

Send a PM to jj at that username. He'll give you his his number (or look around, its all over on here), because he's older and doesn't want to trade endless messages, and honestly, he's right, it's a clearer way to do things like this.

Call him. Set it up. Go see him. Get it done. Make a new friend.

Wish I was closer, Id be dropping in all the time.

See his add selling a Ruger Single Six revo.
His phone number is in the add.
Do not PM him. CALL HIM and talk about the details of the job. Have your facts about the weapon together. Be specific as to what you want done. ---- SAWMAN

You could try campbells hardware in robertsdale there gunsmith does good work

WHAT? And the guy has to drive all the way to Alabama? And this is your 1st Post? OneShot is a damn excellent machinist at better than fair pricing.
IDK, maybe it's just me, But that is the pissiest 1st Post I've ever seen. Have you thought about joining the PFF.
PS, I think you meant "Their", not "there" gunsmith, but you had me looking.
