I am looking at put that just right Range Bag together. At times I see some with enough stuff to open a gunsmith shop.
In my case I lately I just grab a few targets, some tape , a few boxes of ammo and my ear muffs.
And of course the rifle or pistol of the day and some speed loaders and magazines.
    So what do you take?

I take a gunsmith shop. I'll bring extra ammo for guns I didn't bring(5.56), because there are awesome people who let you fire their full autos! I also bring tools for the weapons that I'm going to use. I think you have the essentials covered well though.

After you find out how much stuff (by volume) you "need": double the size and you will have the right size range bag.

Any type of bag can be a range bag but specialized range bags provide better organization and pritection.

CONTENTS: I normally pack for handgun and long gun because the primary range you desire to use may be packed. Specialized Drills may require additional gear.

Ear muffs and ear plugs. Muffs might be enough for what your shooting but there might be a cannon in the next lane.
Min two mags for guns that use them. Allows for trouble shooting if needed and cool between strings.
    Oil and grease lubricants.
An aerosol gun scruber for a quick fix if needed.
Gun rug/mat to protect against bench hardware or cushion elbows.
Binos for short ranges, spoting scope for distance. Scopes normally in seperate carrier due to size.
Rods, tips to match calibers and barrel lengths.
Multi tool: plyers, blade, philips, std, ect... Better to add a Driver & bit set for grips, scopes, mounts and accessories.
Sling (s), bipod, rests, shooting bags.
Rifle/handgun targets to match distance and shooting requirement: grid, bullseye, silhouette, zombie/hostage, or paper plates.
Target pastied or tape, white and black.
Staple gun and staples (provided by some ranges).
Logbook for gun data and range notes. I use a general one and individual logs for precision long guns.
First aid: could be as simple as a few band aids to quick clot and tourniquet.
Optics lens cloth, lens cleaner (not windex).
A couple of rags for gun wipe down prior to casing them and for sweaty hands, brow.
A couple energy bars and H2o.
New guns should have a selection of ammo for function and accuracy testing.

I test my CC handgun "as is" then wipe down/lube and replace carry ammo.

+1 on the tourniquet and compression bandages. You can forget a lot of things that'll just be an inconvenience, and you'll try to remember it next time.

However, the inability to stop bleeding... well, for the rest of your life, you'll regret not having some kind of solution.

Go to Lowe's or Home Depot and look at the contractors tool bags.
They come in all sizes with multiple compartments. Consider the type with wheels.
It is important to remember . . . you cannot ever buy one that is too big. You WILL fill it. Maybe not initially but after each range session you will discover something you will need to add. Speciality tools or speciality cleaning supplies most likely. --- SAWMAN

I used to bring dummy rounds so I could practice failure to fire drills, after I lost a few I stopped doing that. If I had my own or some one's personal range, I will bring them along. Also, the steel field range doesn't allow that kind of practice, at least that is what I was told when I first started going there.
