    I have had it checked out by several different dealers
    they all say it is all Original, original magazine,
    the grips show wear but have NO cracks.
    I have the Original Belt and Holster dated 1917 R.J.M.
    Comes with a beautiful Colt display box.

    I'm sure that when the CMP 1911's start hitting the market in Oct that there will be an increased interest in these old war horses. Beautiful piece of American Heritage. It would look great along side of one of the M1 Garands that are listed. GLWS

    nice!!! I'll be interested to see what happens to price on these C&R firearms...my thought if the CMP pistols are war era pistols in good condition, the additional supply will cause some price erosion so probably a good time to sell if you don't intend to pass it on

    I believe this one is in much better shape then anything that will come out of CMP. I don't have high hopes. I wish I had an extra $2k under my mattress to buy this beauty. Maybe I could convince my wife this is part of my retirement plan. Somebody please buy this and put me out of my misery. GLWS
