    Hey cling to your beliefs .. I will back you 100%,, But you need to back me up about my Argentine Ballester–Molina being made from the metal salvaged off the Graf Spee.. I do believe ...I do believe..

    Some one I worked with once claimed he had some sort of walther pp or ppk made from metal of the Graf Spee and bought it because of that claim. The metallurgy needed for pistols can be a lot different than is what is needed for a garand receiver.

    I've got one of those, Gendarmeria Nacional! :D
    Had it refinished after these photos...rust spots removed.

    The Graf Spee steel thing seems to be an unproven myth...
    but knowing full well how fast a ship will get stripped when folks
    need some metal, wouldn't have put it past the Argentinians.
    Free Steel is Freely Acquired & smelted pretty dang fast.

    Oh there is more Skullduggery from the British then true Salvage in this story.. But G Gordon Liddy told me this tale on the radio and I believe him..
