    Self satisfaction . . . Gotta be . . . otherwise why would someone go thru the hassle of making their own case lube when their are so many choices of good ones out their,for so cheap.

    I used to make my own case lube, using iso heet and lanolin. I ended up having to tumble the rounds after loading because it left a bit of a sticky residue on them. I've been using Hornady One Shot for over a year now and it works really well. It's about $10, but a can lasted me over 10K rounds. I can't imagine a reason to go back to homemade lube.
