Someone within the past week stole my Flat-bottom 14' aluminum john boat from a local private pond in Milton off of Medicine Bow Lane. I have pictures but will take some time to find them. They cut a cable lock securing the boat, and drove a full size truck with deep lug tread.
The boat is very easily identifiable.
1st off, I painted it several years ago with drab green paint (the kind used for jon-boats), and I made the stencils for the "custom leaf camo" paint job. It also has "Skull and Cross-Bones" painted on it as well.
Pictures below are exactly what the leaf-camo looks like, as these are the stencils I cut and used for it.
2nd off, The boat may have been repainted by the thieves, BUT the front-end of the boat is squared and has about a 2" flat rail/edge (as all flat-bottom aluminum boats have), it has a piece cut out of it.
If you got your big toe in the hole and fell, it'll probably cut your toe off and near about it. This feature cannot be changed.
It's a flat-bottom square-nosed aluminum boat, It did not have any seats mounted in it, but it has holes drilled in the bench seats where seat had been previously installed.
*The below pictured boat is not mine, but it looks the same. Notice that flat 2" piece of the front, thats where some of it's been cut out to hold the trolling motor.

Please, if you know who has this boat, tell them to return it and I'll forget it happened. Otherwise, it's a felony theft (Grand-theft) and felony trespass, and if they like hunting, they will lose their gun rights from a felony conviction. Just return it and nothing else will be said.
If you've seen it, or know where it is, please let me know. Thanks

If anyone is on the PFF or knows someone who is, please forward it to their site, maybe even facebook. Thanks again.

Hope you find them. My buddy had his center console stolen a few years back. I posted on PFF and a member found it the next day stripped.

I hate a thief, especially one able bodied enough to steal a boat from a pond...

I will be buying more cams...good luck getting it back, and those involved booked in the grey bar hotel..

Dang thieves... I tell ya!!!! They'll probably just paint the crap outta it and try to sell it on one of the local sale sites. Or keep it as a private pond boat... Hope ya get it back! Check with your local neighbors that may have cameras at their houses that may have caught the scroatbag coming or going from your neighborhood.
