I know the Florida CCW permit is valid for 7 years. I got it back in 2012, but I moved to Kentucky back in the beginning of 2017 and took residence there. I am moving back to Florida at the end of the month. Once I get my Florida DL back is my CCW permit still valid from 2012 or will I need to reapply do you think? I still have my FL permit card

On the point of renewal, I just renewed mine a couple of weeks ago. I live in Cantonment so I made an appointment at the Molino Tag Office. They really have gotten efficient at this. I was greeted on time and done in about 10 minutes. And it was only a 15 minute drive up there. And I left with the card in hand. No waiting for it to arrive in the mail.
