New Baker 12ga with London twist damascus barrels, 5 digit matching serial numbers. Manufacture date between 1885 and 1890. This has the scroll work on the receiver and* rib. It has 32" barrels. The original front bead is also completely intact. Mechanically it functions great but aesthetically she's a little rough. There is some light pitting on the muzzle and light rust in the nooks and crannies. This has no stock nor forend. I bought this as a project a while back and haven't had time to do anything except give her a few wipe downs with some light oil. Would anyone have time to bring her back to her formal L.C Smith associated glory?

As far as pricing goes I'm going to put $200 on it for forum rules but it's kinda hard to price just the barreled action so feel free to message me on here if you have the time and interest to bring her back or if you have any questions.

I'd prefer cash as I have something specific I'm gathering funds for but I am willing to listen to trade offers. Thanks

The action is strong and locks up nice and tight as is. The barrel is Damascus and is relatively softer than modern steel barrels. I do know several older guys who run light target loads through their old Damascus barreled shotguns regularly without any issue but I believe blackpowder shells are generally recommended.
