Meanwhile, here in Florida we have to buy that right with a license.
The problem in Hawaii was with the exception of three permits, one going to a relative of a powerful politician they are not issued period. If your record is clean and you have the training that is required the permit is yours for a reasonable fee. In Hawaii it is not. Read the link for more information.

Im not sure if it was in Hawaii's argumentor one of the dissenting judges opinion but it mentioned that the second amendment only applied to your home....not in public....What kind of idiot would think that. Yes folk, one of the ten original bill of rights only applies to your home......hahahaha!!!

This will not stand, this was a 3 judge panel it will never hold up to an en banc review in the 9th circuit.
I am not a legal expect. A quick search came up with this opinion. I think this is a step in the right direction. Let us not be like chicken little here. The sky does not seem to be falling.

The State of Hawaii, much the same as California, now has a decision to make. They can appeal for an en banc review of the decision a la Peruta and risk a possible further appeal to a Supreme Court that’s expected to include a Justice Kavanaugh. Or, in order to avoid another potentially precedent-setting Supreme Court ruling, Hawaii could decide to bite the bullet and, like DC, be dragged kicking and screaming into issuing citizens (open) carry permits.
