    That's one of the very old 24's Bob. Heavy as heck and were not very accurate IIRC.

    My sister had a 24 (22lr over 410) she let me squirrel hunt with until she bought me my first gun a Steven’s bolt action 410 that I still have. Her 24 was accurate enough to squirrel hunt with.

    I started hunting with a stevens savage 410 over and under with 410 over 410 barrels. belonged to my cousin, would love to have it today, it had the flotation stock, my cousin dropped it out of the boat at the landing and when it went under water it floated stock up just under the surface, was neat as hell to a 13 year old
