Daredevil was alright, I really enjoyed the Punisher series. Ol' boy from The Walking Dead was great in that role.

I thought the Jack Ryan series was fantastic. The level of production for that show was on par with any major blockbuster movie. We'll see if Amazon can continue to afford that level of production, I sure hope so. I went into it knowing that it was going to be a modern day take on the Tom Clancy character, and that it would probably have nothing to do with the books. But they did actually use some of the actual Jack Ryan backstory with the new Jack Ryan, so I was happy.

I always meant to watch Free State of Jones. Now that it's on Netflix I'll definitely have to watch it.

I'm half way through the Jack Ryan series right now... very good show. I hope they continue it.

Whoever it was that posted about that Danish series called "Rita" on Netflix thanks, I binge watched all four seasons. It was really good. I know I don't have a life.

More in keeping with a gun forum, another movie on Netflix I would highly recommend is "The Siege of Jadotville". Based on a true story that occurred in 1961 that I had never heard of until I saw this movie.

The thread is a little cleaner and one person is on a vacation for two weeks. We've asked people to not turn threads political. We've asked people to refrain from posting BS conspiracy theory stuff. I have zero tolerance for it and will kill it hen I see it. If you don't like it complain to TexKev and if you agrees with you so be it.

I have watched that one more than once and almost bought an FAL or Cetme because of it.
The Narcos series is also a good one to watch, if it's even half true it's insane the amount of drugs run thru the borders.

Although not on Netflix, but occasionally on TV, Cocaine Cowboys is a pretty crazy documentary. The 70's and 80's South Florida Drug scene was pretty unreal. Also, American Made with Tom Cruise is a pretty good movie based off a true story. It always amazes me to see what some of these people were able to get away with for so long.

Sidenote...thanks Donr for cleaning up the bullshit.

I just got done watching "Wind River" and give it a thumbs up. :thumb:
In addition, it was inspired by actual events.

Thanks Garpo! Just finished it on this rainy morning.
    Based off true story:

Me and motorcycle Pals were very near there last June.

    A must see place.

Awesome AT!! I may have to pick your brains about that trip sometime, assuming I ever get to a point where I can take a month off work.

For a good laugh, especially if you're into dark comedy, you have to watch "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs".

I watched the first two parts of that. Pretty good, assuming you like the Coen Brothers. Either you love em or you hate em. Not quite Fargo dark from what I've seen so far though. Interesting sidenote...I know of some people who tried the Fargo means of body disposal after the movie. Worked for a while, but they have since been tried and convicted. If I ever hear that noise, I'm going back inside and going to bed!!!
