I have a fairly new Dan Wesson PM9 that ejects cases all over the place. They will be anywhere from 2' to 10' away and from 3 o'clock to 5 o'clock. I'm no expert but I understand that the extractor needs tuning. Can anyone recommend a gunsmith that can help me out?

It is possible that the extractor is clocking. An oversize firing pin stop can help minimize this. Assuming your grip is not a factor.

Sounds like you need the ej. and ex. worked on. Just my 5 cents jj

I agree. I've only been into handguns a few years and this is my first 1911. Until now, I haven't had the need of a gunsmith and I would appreciate it if someone could recommend a good one.
