A few months ago I put together my first AR using an Anderson lower. I've put a few hundred rounds through it and began to have issues with it yesterday. It would fire a few rounds and cycle fine, but the trigger would suddenly be stuck to the rear. The hammer pin was coming out.

After inspecting the tdigger group I discovered that the spring arms were under the pins instead of on top. The spring itself was even backwards.

After fixing everything I was still having the same issue and discovered this

I'm new to ARs but this hammer looks damaged to me.
    I would appreciate any feedback.

    Thanks!

From ookig at the pics it looks like the hammer spring legs are under the trigger pin. They should be over it, that is what hold the trigger in secure.

Correct, I fixed it. The pins no longer work their way out but the trigger is still staying stuck after firing a round. I believe the hammer to be dammged where the disconnect meets the hammer.

I do not. I've contacted Anderson manufacturing to see what they think.

Got out a spare semi auto hammer. It does NOT look like yours. It appears part of your hammer is broken off.

If you want, I live about 5 miles north of Whiting Field. I am home most all the time. Call me, come on out, and let's try my hammer. We can test fire right here. I'll PM a phone number.

I really appreciate the offer! I've got in contact with the manufacturer and am awaiting replacement parts. I'm a novice and I appreciate the gesture!
