    [QUOTE=pawpaw;410699]Ah yes! The Opel GT

    I remember (may be wrong) but I paid $3300 for the GT. It was a great little car, it had 2 carbs that got a little problematic at times and had a mechanical lever that opened the headlights up that needed tinkering with on occasion. Got good gas mileage and attracted a lot of attention. I got pulled over in Baton Rouge once because the police had no idea what it was, they let me off for speeding also.

    1972 Datsun 240Z, my first brand new car. Got a $10k reenlistment bonus, paid $4200 for the Z, the rest went on beer and women. All are memories now.

    2 cars I wish I still had. First was my '85 Grand National. Fuel injected and turbocharged V6 was big news back then! Classy car and about the fastest thing you could get in the mid 1980's. The other one I really liked was my '73 Road Runner with the 340 in it. First car that was mine, not my parents. Unfortunately I had no control back then, beat the hell out of it and drove it into the ground. Spent more time at over 100 mph in that car than anything else except my race car!!!

    My recruiter said, when I asked about bonuses, that they only come with certain jobs. He said “would you rather have 4k$, or a job you actually like doing?”

    I ended up with neither.

    My 1993 Bronco which was unstoppable, and my foxbodies, one of which took 2nd place at the Navarre Show in 2014. Hopefully I can get some sort of cool car for my son to borrow when the time comes lol. Name: 1991 Cobra_2nd_Place_Navarre_Auto_Show 2014.jpg

    1996 ford bronco I got from fwc. I put 1 ton axles out of a 79 f350 in it and 40 inch super swampers on 16.5 x 12 wheels. put real wood interior panels and overhead console in it out of a wrecked southern comfort edition f150 I had for parts. had a nice stereo system in it too. damn I miss that rig.

    this was probably my biggest mistake to sell and the sad thing was that I didn't even NEED to sell it.
    1966 Caprice, 2dr hardtop, all matching number big block(396) car. Black bucket seat interior, th400 trans, 12 bolt rear with 3.31 gears factory AC, tilt wheel, and the list goes on. Had just freshened up the motor and didn't even need to bore it the cylinders were so good. Machine shop ran a dingleberry through it, took the crank 10/10 and freshened the heads with hardened seats and new manley stainless valves. Paint was only two years old when I sold it. I hated myself when I saw the car drive off.

    Sounds stupid but a 1990 Plymouth laser RS bought from an old man in 2003. Never knew why it was so fast until I attempted to put an intake on it and nothing bolted up. Apparently the old fella liked to order things from Japan that can't be bought here. I would set the cruise on 110 for a ride and had it well over 150 on a couple occasions. That car made me tons of money while I was beating college freshmen driving their mommy BMW
