Wing Alabama just over the FL line, 35 - 40min from Crestview, I went there and very nice place. 25 and 50 pistol and 100 rifle side, covered benches and cord to clip your targets to. Here is the best deal, $20 a year, all you need is a WMA permit you can get online! No daily fee, even on Sat there were few people there, clean and nice, bathroom on property.

Is it open to Florida residents. Your post strongly suggests that it is. I assume they sell or issue the WMA permit to Florida residents also.

OH Yeah, I am a FL resident and my neighbor who went with me is too. You are not buying a hunting permit just a visiting permit which allows you to use the range. Pretty cool for $20 a year

No sir it is self serve, a warden did drive by us but did not stop or contact. After shooting with Sawman several times I am trained(out of self preservation and so he will not yell at me) and act like a RO on these types of ranges, I don't want to get shot. People that were there were older and well behaved, all I had to do was call cold and hot.

Been there once, also. Hard to beat the price. About all I'm shooting anymore are my .22s so I really don't need any more than 50yd ranges anyway. I'm a member at CORE, but haven't in over 7 weeks, so I'm kind of throwing money away.

One other benefit is coming back through Wing,Al. and filling up for 20 to 30 cent a gallon cheaper than Florida gas prices

It's a nice place but it really bums me out that they closed the old range and moved it twenty miles further away from me. I miss the old berm.
