Looks like it has been reblued with hot caustic solution. Original Belgian made guns were rust blued. Do you know the history?

My brother-in-law had one that I was able to shoot clay pigeons with. They are great shotguns

Back in the day we bought them for around $200.00 and we called them "SWEET SIXTEEN AND NEVER BEEN KISSED OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT?

Got myself a "LIGHT TWELVE" back in those days for around $200.00 also :grouphug::drum:

Sure is a nice looking one.

Don’t want to do it but...I’ll let it go for 900... need to put some funds together for my retirement shadowbox.

It is not... the only difference between the “sweet” and the standard Auto 5 is 10oz (couldn’t remember if it 10 or 12)...Trigger group is the same (minus the gold trigger , which this gun has)... receiver is the same... Barrel is the same...wood is the same.... I’m thinking about not letting this gem go until Browning sends me the historical certificate as this gun has some not so “standard” options...

Thanks. I know someone who collects Sweet 16s, he has one I use to own. I'll see if he is interested.
