Thanks for posting the link. I have a Mark I that I've had since the late 60's that has never been completely disassembled and cleaned. Perhaps now I will muster the courage to "go all the way".

That's a great link LowRider. I'm going to have to upgrade my Mk III. Tearing it apart now is a royal pain. The Mk IV is great, takes about 2 seconds.

I always found taking it apart is a piece of cake. Putting it back together, not so much. You'll love the Majestic kit.

I have one of these kits in my MK II and it's the easiest way I've ever seen to work on one of these. I recently traded my Ruger Standard and kept the MK II simply because of the ease of maintenance this kit provides.

Anyone know of anyone installing these kit's in our locate area, sure could use some help in installing them in some of my Ruger pistols?

Get back to me if so?

    Thanks

I think it is installer friendly as in if you can't install the kit maybe you should not be field stripping the weapon.

I don't field strip it and it is not installer friendly as much as you think, I just run a bore snake threw it, but would like to have the kit installed to be able to take it apart, so still looking for some help on installing these kits?

No problems on taking it apart, putting it back together is the problem for me.

Sorry, I thought you field stripped the weapon and replaced a couple parts to convert, them reassembled via the easy method. Well maybe if you talk jj into lifting that restraining order on you, he could do it ?
