Early 80's Colt Python, 4 inch barrel, E-Nickle finish

    PM works just fine

$3,000. REDUCED TO $2,700 (Firm) Bill of sale required. Must be over 21 to purchase. CCW holders preferred

    Description
Up for sale is a beautiful, unmolested, all factory Colt Python. The grips are original. The finish is factory. All stamps are intact. No rust, holster wear, or scratches to speak of. I'd call it 98% condition. This pistol has been shot, but taken very good care of. It comes with a Colt Custom locking box with red velvet inlay, with the factory key. Condition of the box is very nice with only some slight handling marks. The velvet is in good shape as well, with only a bit of wear from use. I DO NOT HAVE ANY ADDITIONAL PAPERWORK OR BOXES FOR THIS.

I don't have to sell this, but I'm also not using this. What I'm getting at is I'm not desperate, and I don't particularly want your dearly departed Peepop's old Iver Johnson revolver with 3% of the finish left on it. I might be up for a partial trade, the worst I can do is say no. I like Uzi's and fun stuff like that from the 80's and 90's just for reference.

I live in Fort Walton. I'm not really eager to drive across the Florida panhandle to meet with a buyer. We're all big boys and gals here. You can scoot on over to within 30 minutes of my area to meet. If you want more pictures, or need more details, just let me know.

What a beautiful piece. I wish I could offer you a realistic purchase price. I have always dreamed of owning a Python... but any offer I could actually afford to give you would be insulting, at best. Beautiful gun!

Thanks man. I found an old 6inch royal blue one with significant holster wear on it at a pawn shop about 4 years ago. I recommend buying one with some "love" on it, so you can really go out and enjoy it. They shoot like no other revolver out there. I just bought a Jeep and of course want to modify it, otherwise I would be keeping it.

Yeah, the age range puts it at E nickel. No stainless markings. Doesn't look yellow in person as some E nickel does, but it hasn't been refinished... Stamps and screws are all as crisp as can be.

What do you need for your Jeep? I have an 81 CJ7 I started as a project and just don't have time to work on it. Has newer frame and full fiber glass body. There could be some trade options available.

Actually for a secondary vehicle I have.... at least in part. Broken motor mounts, and a few oil leaks. As for the Jeep, I'm doing bumpers, winch, fenders, lift, rims/tires, exhaust.... Honestly, the vehicle repairs pale in comparison to the mods to the Jeep that I want to do. lol....

RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE. Still for sale. In no big rush to sell, but I will entertain trade offers for IMI Uzi's, FN/FAL, misc fun black guns like that.
