Thinning my collection a bit. This battle rifle was produced during World War 2 and was put through arsenal refurbishing sometime postwar. Being made in 1943 at the Izhevsk factory, it is very likely it saw action. It is in excellent condition. Stamped matching parts include barrel/receiver, bolt, butt plate, and magazine floor plate. Good bore, NO counter-bore. Fires the 7.62x54r round. Comes with bayonet and genuine dog-collar canvas sling (not shown). NOTE: A desirable trait on this rifle: this rifle came into the U.S. before the billboard style of receiver import stamps were directed. So it has only a small serial number in that location.
