    That might explain that smell I notice when driving through Birmingham, I thought it was a paper mill.

    Looks like New York has been pawning off their garbage on other states for a long time. I've never liked New York so just one more reason to not like that state or city. I do feel bad for Western New York, you'd think they'd split off and separate themselves from the bad rap they get because of New York City.

    Maybe not connected but the waste disposal up that way in NJ and NYC has been connected with mafia families for some reason. For another state to accept their garbage is a way for a county through tipping fees to make some money. You can get so much per truck load, especially if no one inspects what is being dumped too closely.

    I actually remember that whole "Gar-barge" fiasco. They were wanting to bring it into Panama City for awhile to the new incinerator. On the other hand....personally I always like to leave a turd in 'Bama.:rockon:
