Do they know what a "military" type rifle is? Seems like all they're worried about are ARs. There are dozens of other options out there. Is that a feature or a bug?

If you described an AR-15 as a 60+yr old design that fired a small, .22 cal bullet that's too small to hunt with in several states, from a 5 rd detachable magazine. I think the uninformed would have a different opinion about the matter.

Reminds me of an article I read long ago touting the merits of the mini 14, one being how it looks just like a hunting rifle without the magazine, and how far that would go in a trial over justified shooting.

People are silly about facts vs appearances.

Mini-14 - - -> With a 5 shot mag installed it looks pretty docile. With a 30 shot mag installed,it looks like a real "terrorist" killing tool.
Point being . . . now more than ever, the guns that you own that will accept a hicap mag,if you desire them, buy them . . . NOW. Even if you never plan to use them. Later on down the road,if you deceide to sell the weapon, them hicap mags could get you more money. ---- SAWMAN

totally stupid...Now optics planet is restricting mags to 10 rds, all their mags "We are not offering magazines with capacities greater than 10 rounds to the general public due to our location in Northbrook, Illinois, and local laws that limit our ability to sell these. "

They weren't a dependable company to deal with any way. Now I won't even consider doing business with them.
