I know. I only ordered half a case. But I just loaded up on their .308 at 50 cents a round shipped, and I just picked up 600+ rounds of 5.56 from a member here at 28 cents per round, so...... ugh :)

But this really is a great price with the free shipping.

Yep, 35 cents a round for 62 gr isnt bad with the free ammo can.

    I picked this up

    http://palmettostatearmory.com/amer...eel-core-ammunition-1000-rounds-xm855csf.html

for 28 cents a round (with free shipping) a while back (plus some $50 rebate Ill probably never see).

Out of stock now, but worth getting on the notification list at that price.

I was wondering what the plastic was. I've never seen that before. Sounds safer then the metal stripper clips, which I do like, but cut myself with occasionally.

Way better than the metal ones. You can reuse them forever, on the metal ones the little tabs on the ends will break off after two or three uses. They come with a loader that works much better than the metal one as well. I had given up looking for this IVI ammo. I bought a couple of cans thirty years ago, this is the first time I've seen it since then.
