Here is a thought, lets just go ahead and impose massive sanctions against Russia. Congress in a rare bi-partisan move, has already authorized new sanctions. For reasons unknown the WH has decided that no sanctions were needed. Obviously, the WH should reconsider. Russia needs to stop this shit and we must sanction them to the maximum extent possible.

The FBI said Friday that more than a month before the shooting rampage at a South Florida high school, the bureau received a warning that the 19-year-old charged in the massacre might carry out an attack at a school — but then investigators failed to act on it.
The startling disclosure came two days after police say Nikolas Cruz marched into his former high school in Parkland, Fla., and gunned down 17 people, most of them teenagers. In a statement, the FBI said it received a tip on Jan. 5 from “a person close to Nikolas Cruz” reporting concerns about him.
This person, who was not identified, told the FBI’s public tip line “about Cruz’s gun ownership, desire to kill people, erratic behavior, and disturbing social media posts, as well as the potential of him conducting a school shooting,” the bureau said.
Such a warning should have been investigated “as a potential threat to life,” triggering investigative efforts in the local FBI field office, but “these protocols were not followed” and no further inquiries were made, the bureau said in a statement.

You make a very good point. Often times clarity can be achieved by reversing a position 180 degrees. For example, if a nation were to base it's foreign policy with the United States on watching the TV show THE VIEW or by watching 30 minutes of CNN or by talking to one Hollywood actor/actress they would certainly cut off all contact with us. With that as a foundation for judging the U.S. one would have to conclude that Americans are stupid, angry, WAY left of simply being liberal, insane, and most of all, hateful.
Of course, if the latest Muller report is true, it would be fair to judge America as pretty darn stupid, or at least having a high percentage of stupid people. The frightening realization about this shooting is that it could have been so much worse. He dropped his rifle and fled with the rest of the students. He still had plenty of ammo left when he fled. I wonder if his sense of self preservation kicked in or if his weapon jammed and he could not clear it.
The significance of Russia, is that they will take any opportunity to fan the flames of controversy to cause discord within our country and between neighbors. No the President should punish Russia for meddling with our internal affairs. Congress passed a law authorizing this action, just last year specifically so that Trump could sanction Russia but he decided not to do anything with this power
