Think highly of that stuff, huh? I might have to sell some of mine. I have about 4 cases of the stuff in .40 S&W.

Wow! I’ve got some boxes of 50 that I didn’t pay that much for.
That was a few years ago though.

I still have quite a few of these in 38Special and a few in 357Mag.
Back about 20 years ago I did some gallon milk jug tests with both of these coming out of a 4" revo.
Seems they were a great combo of fairly quick expansion and good penetration. They did seem fairly hot also. --- SAWMAN

That's Federal HST. He's talking about Federal Hydra-Shok. Very different ammo. Although I did see it @ SGAmmo for $19.00 for 50 124gr and $26.00 for 50 147gr.

True, but HST is a better bullet. expands a bit more and doesn't fail when the tip traps clothing/material in it.

No argument here. I use HST's in .45 ACP. I was just pointing out that the OP was talking about a different kind of ammo.

Thanks guys, I probably could have found a better deal somewhere else but I was there so I sprung, helping out a local business too. I hang out there a lot so I need to buy something once in a while.

Funny after all these years of shooting this was the first time I've ever bought 9mm PD ammo. I've always depended on 40s and 45s for PD. I picked up a G43 and really like the size. It's much more carry friendly than a G23.
