    I am really proud of her. Taken at 168 yards with a 243. I am proud of her. She didn't think she could do it but proved herself wrong.

    Great going to both of you sir. She will never forget her first. Hopefully there will be many more.
    I was standing right besides my wife when she shot her first deer. It was a 190lb doe up in Maine. She killed it with a NEF Handi Rifle chambered in 30-30Win.
    That was a very long time ago . . . but she remembers every detail of the hunt. --- SAWMAN

    Yes it is a great buck. He was really big bodied and we got a lot of meat off him. She is kinda disappointed he was missing the other side of his rack but it is a memory we will cherish forever
