    Hey guys,

I picked this up as a partial trade. Just wondering what it’s worth (if anything)?

Found this info on thehighroad.com : “ BMB is an Italian Garand marking.
It stands for, Breda Meccanica Bresciana.
Century bought all the Danish issue M1 Garands that were not returned to the US Government and imported them to Canada.
Lend Lease rifles had to be returned to the US government but FMAP, Map and Italian contract rifles could be sold on the open market.
Since the complete rifles could not be sold in the USA, they broke the rifles down into parts and reassembled them using an investment cast, US made receiver...”

JJ will chime in soon I’m sure as he’s very knowledgeable in anything Garand.

Have you shot it? Do you get a tight pattern a 50 yards ? Looks to be a bit mix and match, but if it's accurate, I'd say
at least 600$, but do your research, you may find somebody looking for parts from it.

I think that is one of the Century Arms International aftermarket cast receivers built up with GI parts, I had one a while back. If there's no writing on the heel of the receiver such as US Rifle Cal 30 M-1 followed by Springfield Armory or one of the other 3 manufacturers it is definitely an aftermarket cast receiver.

If I is marked with a manufacturer it is probably an Danish import before the CMP imported them, none of CMPs were stamped with the CAI logo.

Value is, well I sold mine for $500 years ago but it had a brand new Boyd's stock. I wouldn't expect much more than that now but you might get it.

You're welcome to stop by and I'll put the gauges to it so you'll know the wear factor.

Danish VAR barrel, very good if it's not too worn !

I think it's worth a Dollar 2-98. So I'll give you 300 so you don't feel bad on that trade deal. Had those at Camp Casey, 2d ID, TDC, Korea. If I'd known back then they'd be on the civilian market, I'd kept my weapons card to track-down my issued weapons. Nice rifle, they shoot great and accurate.

    # 1 what is on the heel #2 cond. # 3 Does to work with no problem Parts could be worth more then the hole gun Some of the rec. were hit and miss on QT. have had some of each. need to check timing and barrel reading. CMP will not work on it. Just my 5 cents jj

Nothing on the heel of the receiver
Condition of wood is just ok. Condition of mechanisms seems fine.
    Works and functions/fires fine.
